Meaning
To dance by rolling and gyrating the waist and hips in a smooth, circular motion — the core movement of Caribbean dance. 'Wine up yuh waist' means roll your hips. To 'wine pon' someone is to dance grinding against them. A whole family of named wines exists (dutty wine, and more).
