Meaning
A tart, sparkling grapefruit soda made in Jamaica since the 1970s — refreshing, not too sweet, and hugely popular island-wide. Its slogan 'you feel di real ting' plays on the Patois pronunciation of 'thing'. Often mixed with white rum or vodka to make a 'Ting wid a sting'. (Not to be confused with 'ting' meaning 'thing'.)
