To fall down, topple, or collapse — 'tumble' plus 'down'. A person can 'tumble dung' the steps; an old wall or house can 'tumble dung'; and, figuratively, a plan, business, or situation can 'tumble dung' when it falls apart. It carries the sense of coming down suddenly and messily.
