Meaning
A grove of cocoa (cacao) trees grown for their pods — a 'walk' being a Jamaican term for a planted stand of one crop. The cocoa is grown in the cool shade of larger trees, and from the walk the pods are picked, split, and the beans dried and 'polished' to sell, or roasted at home to make chocolate tea. The cocoa walk is part of the mixed hillside farming of many country districts.
