Annoyance, aggravation, or a source of anger — the state of being 'vex' (angry), or the thing that provokes it. 'Pure vexation' describes a situation full of trouble and irritation; to act 'inna vexation' is to act out of anger. A common, slightly formal-sounding word for exasperation and the trials that cause it.
