Meaning
Angry, annoyed, cross — and as a verb, to anger someone. 'Vex' is one of the most common words for being upset in Patois: to be vex, to get vex, or to 'vex' another person by wronging or provoking them. It runs from mild irritation ('mi likkle vex') to real anger ('him well vex'), and 'do sup'm inna vex' is to act out of anger. The related form 'bex' carries the same meaning.
