Meaning
A total whitewash in dominoes — winning all six games of a set while the other pair scores none ('love', meaning zero) — the most humiliating defeat you can hand an opponent. To 'give somebody a six love' is to thrash them utterly, and the phrase carries beyond the game to mean any crushing, shut-out defeat. A six love is celebrated loudly and never lived down.
