Meaning
Creation — the created world and all its living energy — remade in Rastafari speech with the affirming 'I' in place of the 'c' of 'creation'. To give thanks for 'the iration' is to honour all of Jah's creation, the whole living order of the earth, and the reshaped word binds the created world to the sacred 'I' at the heart of Rastafari thought. It belongs with 'inity' and 'idren' among the many 'I-words' through which the faith bends language toward the divine and the life-affirming.
