Meaning
To punch or strike with the fist — and, as a noun, a punch or blow. To cuff someone is to hit them a solid blow, and to 'get a cuff' is to be punched. It sits with 'box' (a slap or blow) and 'lick' (a hit) in the everyday Jamaican vocabulary of blows, and turns up in warnings and accounts of fights and beatings. A 'cuff inna di face' is a punch to the face.
