Meaning
A large speaker cabinet built to reproduce the deep bass frequencies — the massive 'boxes' stacked into towering walls at a sound-system dance to make the bassline felt in the chest and the ground. A serious sound has many bass bins ('house of joy'), and the number and power of the boxes is a matter of pride and rivalry between sound systems.
