Meaning
'Are you crazy?' — an incredulous challenge to someone saying or doing something foolish, reckless, or outrageous. 'Yuh mad?' can be genuine alarm or playful disbelief; sharper still is 'wah do yuh?' (what's wrong with you?). Not usually about literal madness, but about foolish behaviour.
