Worried, anxious, troubled in the mind — weighed down by concern over money, a sick relative, a child, or trouble at hand. To be 'worried' or to 'worry yuhself' is to fret and let the mind churn, and 'nuh worry yuhself' is a common comfort meaning don't fret, don't trouble your head. The verb 'worry' also means to bother or pester someone: 'stop worry mi' is stop bothering me.
