Meaning
Gas in the belly — the trapped air that causes bloating, discomfort, and colic. A baby with 'wind' cries and needs burping; an adult with 'wind pon di belly' is bloated and gassy. The home remedies are mint, ginger, peppermint, or gripe water to 'break the wind'. (Distinct from 'wind'/'wine', the dance move — a different word.)
