Meaning
A habitual, heavy smoker of ganja — someone forever smoking 'weed'. Usually dismissive, the word implies that the person is constantly high, given over to the herb, and perhaps a little useless or unfocused because of it. Unlike the reverent Rastafari view of ganja as a sacrament, 'weed-head' looks at heavy smoking with a critical or teasing eye, and it is used as a mild put-down for someone whose devotion to the spliff seems to run their life.
