Meaning
A juicy citrus fruit, a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit/pomelo, with easy-peel skin and a sweet-tart flavour. Jamaica is famous for its citrus crosses — the ortanique was actually bred on the island — and tangelo, ugli fruit, and ortanique are prized in season.
