Meaning
A thick, dark-green Jamaican soup made from callaloo and other leafy greens (like Indian kale) simmered with coconut milk, okra, salted meat, and scotch bonnet. Rich, hearty, and peppery — not to be confused with the Guyanese meat stew of the same name.
