Meaning
The most prized eating mango in Jamaica — a small-to-medium, richly sweet, smooth-fleshed variety with little or no fibre, so you can eat it clean without the strings. Julie mangoes are the ones people watch the tree for and fight over in season; a good 'Julie' is the standard against which other mangoes are judged.
