A large, aromatic, deep-yellow mango variety with rich, smooth, fibre-free flesh — one of the top prized eating mangoes alongside Julie. Fragrant and full-flavoured, the East Indian is a favourite for eating fresh out of hand and is considered one of the 'nice' mangoes, not a common stringy one.
