Meaning
A person with spiritual sight — 'four eyes' — who can see duppies and the spirit world and read hidden things, such as an obeah worker, a Revival seer, or a warner. To be 'four-eye' is to have this second sight. People consult a four-eye man or woman to uncover who set obeah on them or to see what ordinary eyes cannot.
