Meaning
To throw, toss, or hurl — often carelessly or forcefully. 'Fling it here' means toss it over, and 'fling weh' means to throw away or discard. It can also mean to sling oneself somewhere quickly — 'fling miself pon di bed' is to throw myself down on the bed. A vigorous, everyday verb of movement, it catches the careless or forceful arc of a thing thrown, from a tossed object to a body flung down in weariness, and it belongs to the plain vocabulary of handling, discarding, and hurling.
