Meaning

To throw, toss, or fling — often forcefully or carelessly. With 'weh' (away) it means to throw out or get rid of something.

Origin

From English 'dash', in the sense of dashing something down or hurling it, kept vivid in Jamaican everyday speech.

How it’s used

'Dash weh' is the most common form. 'Dash out' can also mean to spend or give money freely.
