Meaning
To break something off completely and move on with a clean slate — most often to end a relationship or friendship cleanly and cut all ties. In obeah and folk-spiritual practice, a 'cut and clear' is also a ritual (or a candle/bath) to sever a spiritual attachment or a person's hold on you and clear the way for a fresh start.
