Meaning
An intensely itchy skin rash or eruption — small bumps and sores that itch and spread, of the sort caused by scabies or a similar irritation. 'Craw-craw', a word carried from West Africa, is the traditional name for this maddening itch, and to have craw-craw is to be scratching without relief. Like cro-cro, the term is also thrown loosely at rough, broken-out skin.
