A schoolyard jumping game, mostly for girls, played with a long loop of joined elastic bands (or a stretchy cord) held taut around the ankles of two players while a third hops, steps, and tangles their feet through it in set patterns — the height rising from ankle to knee to waist as rounds are cleared. A beloved break-time game of skill, rhythm, and rhyme.
