Meaning
Chocolate — and especially 'chocolate tea', the hot drink made by boiling grated homemade cocoa with water or milk, sweetened and spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon. A traditional Jamaican breakfast beverage, richer and more rustic than store cocoa, often served with hard-dough bread or fried dumpling.
