Cash Pot

noun KASH-pat ˈkaʃpat

Also spelled cash-pot, cashpot

A hugely popular Jamaican numbers lottery in which you bet on a number from 1 to 36, each of which is tied to a symbol or meaning in the traditional 'dream book'. Many players choose their number by interpreting a dream — a dead relative, a wedding, a snake — and matching it to its number. Descended from the old illegal 'drop pan' game, Cash Pot is now drawn several times a day.
