Meaning
'Yeah man' — an easygoing 'yes', 'sure', 'of course', or 'no problem', the relaxed affirmative that colours Jamaican speech. It agrees, reassures, and smooths, said warmly whether or not the listener is a man. 'Gwaan so' (carry on like that) rides the same friendly current.
