Meaning
Two uses. Literally 'what did you say?' — asking someone to repeat themselves. But very commonly it is a casual greeting, like 'what's up?' or 'how's it going?', not really expecting a report of speech: 'weh yuh seh, mi bredren?' just means 'hey, how are you?'. Tone and context tell which is meant.
