Meaning
To watch — to look at, observe, or keep an eye on, and often to watch out or be careful ('watch yuhself'). To 'watch' a person can mean to study them warily, close to 'pree' and 'size up'. 'Watch ya!' calls attention to something. Also literally to watch TV or a match.
