Meaning
Trousers cut to three-quarter length — ending below the knee, partway down the calf, between full 'long pants' and 'short pants'. Popular in casual and dancehall street style, 'three quarter' pants are a fixture of men's warm-weather wear, worn with a merino or jersey and a pair of crepe or watchekong. The word names the length by the fraction of the leg it covers, in the same plain way as short pants and long pants.
