Meaning
Smooth, flattering talk used to charm, persuade, or win someone over — and a person who is full of it. To 'sweet-mouth' someone is to sweet-talk them, coaxing with honeyed words to get your way, borrow money, or win a lover. It can be charming or manipulative, and is often warned against: sweet mouth doesn't always mean a true heart.
