Meaning
Shower — a brief fall of rain, and especially the 'sun shower', the odd, brief rain that falls while the sun still shines. Folklore has a name for that moment: when it rains and the sun shines, 'the devil and his wife are fighting'. A passing shower cools the heat and moves on.
