Meaning
The cool wind that blows in off the sea, easing the heat of the day along the coast — a blessing on a hot afternoon. The sea breeze picks up as the land warms, and coastal life is arranged around it: the verandah faces the breeze, and 'ketch di sea breeze' is to sit where the cool air reaches you. At night the flow reverses into the land breeze off the hills.
