Meaning
To play, fool around, or mess about — and, in the common warning 'nuh ramp wid mi', to trifle or meddle with someone. To ramp is to lark about and not be serious, as children ramp instead of doing their work; but 'don't ramp with me' means don't test me, don't take me lightly, I am not to be trifled with. So the word swings between harmless playing and a pointed warning against provoking someone.
