Meaning
Plenty of, a lot of — a run-together of 'nuff a' (nuff of). 'Nuffa people' means lots of people, 'nuffa money' plenty of money, 'nuffa problem' no end of trouble. It intensifies 'nuff' (plenty, many) before a noun, piling on the sense of abundance, and it is among the common quantifiers of everyday speech. Depending on what it measures, it can celebrate plenty or, as in 'nuffa chat', complain of far too much of something not worth having.
