Meaning
The holy city — in Rastafari and Jamaican church tradition, a symbol of the promised land, salvation, and the spiritual home, often paired or interchanged with Zion (Africa/Ethiopia). To reach 'Jerusalem' is to reach deliverance and peace, the opposite of suffering in 'Babylon'.
