Meaning
A young, green coconut prized for its sweet water and the soft, spoonable white 'jelly' lining the inside — not yet hardened into mature flesh. The coconut vendor machetes off the top so you drink the water, then splits it and cuts a 'spoon' from the shell to scoop the jelly. A refreshing roadside treat.
