Fass

Meaning

Fass (facety) — nosy, meddling, and forward; poking into what isn't your business or being cheeky and out of order. 'Yuh too fass' scolds someone prying or overstepping. Kin to 'facety' and 'outta order', and answered by 'mind yuh business'.

  Don't be so nosy in my business.

• Di pickney fass, him a listen big people talk.

  The child is facety — he's listening to grown folks' talk.

• Yuh too faas, mind yuh own business.

  You're too nosy, mind your own business.

  I don't mean to pry, but what happened?

• Him faas wid everybody affairs.

  He meddles in everybody's affairs.
