Meaning
To drop someone or something off — to carry a passenger or a parcel and set them down at a stop along the way. On the road it is what a route-taxi, coaster bus, or a driver giving a 'hitch' does: 'drop mi off a di corner'. A useful favour word in a country where many get around by begging a lift or catching a stage-by-stage ride.
