The starchy, filling part of a meal taken collectively — ground provisions (yam, dasheen, sweet potato), green banana, breadfruit, dumplings, and the like: the 'kind' of food that is bread-like and fills the belly. 'Nuff breadkind' means plenty of the heavy carbohydrate side that goes with the meat or fish.
