Meaning
A 'big somebody' — an important, wealthy, or powerful person; a bigshot. 'Smaddy' is 'somebody', and 'big smaddy' marks status and clout, sometimes admiringly, sometimes with a hint of resentment at airs. The opposite of an ordinary 'likkle smaddy'.
