Meaning
'Bad mind a kill dem' — envy is killing them. The bitterness of those who resent another's success eats away at the envious themselves, the saying observes: 'badmind' — spiteful, grudging envy — does more harm to the one who carries it than to the person it is aimed at, souring and consuming them from within. A common refrain in dancehall and everyday talk, it is thrown at the jealous and the grudgeful, a defiant answer to the hater, holding that their own spite is their worst punishment.
