Swollen — puffed up from injury, illness, an insect bite, or infection. 'Mi foot swell up' means my leg/foot is swollen. As a verb, to 'swell up' is to become swollen. It can also describe a face 'swell up' with sulking or crying, and a person 'swell up' with anger or pride.
