Meaning
A rotating savings club of the same kind Jamaicans call 'pardner' — members contribute a set amount regularly and take turns receiving the whole pot. 'Susu' is the term more common in Trinidad and the wider Caribbean and among the diaspora, and it is heard in Jamaica too. (Note: 'su-su' can separately mean gossip/whispering — a different word.)
