Meaning
A rotating savings club: members contribute a set amount regularly and take turns receiving the whole pot. It is the same kind of club Jamaicans call a 'pardner', and the word 'susu' is more common in Trinidad, the wider Caribbean and among the diaspora, though it is heard in Jamaica too. (Note: 'su-su' can separately mean gossip or whispering, a different word.)
