Meaning
A prized variety of mango — small, sweet, smooth, and almost fibreless, with rich, deep-orange flesh you can slice and eat clean without the strings of the common kind. The Julie mango is a summer favourite, sought after above the stringy seedling mangoes and rated by many the finest of all, and its coming into season is part of the joy of mango time. To be offered a Julie is to be given the best the tree has to give.
